offline:events (sit unconfortably) in partnership with the Kinemastik International Short Film Festival - www.kinemastik.org - and the Heinrich Boell Foundation’s Middle East Office - www.boell-meo.org - will present in Malta during the week of July 8 - 12, 2008, several Iraqi short movies and the panel discussion: Double Jeopardy: Navigating the Space between Exile and Home. Both the films and the panel intend to reveal to you some of the missing images and narratives on Iraq today, which usually lapse from the official record and media representations.
